Holy sh*t, you guys, the moment is HERE. Literally, the moment you’ve been waiting for the ENTIRE summer is finally here. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello just hit the 2019 VMAs stage and performed their sizzling duet of “Señorita,” and it was every bit as saucy, sensual, and sexy as we were all hoping for, to be honest!!! If you missed the awards show, I’m here to let you know that you juuust might wanna get a glass of water before watching this performance. You’ve been warned given a heads-up!

The whole thing was too much for me, and everyone freakin’ else, to handle. So naturally, people went on Twitter to vent out their ~thoughts~ on the performance. I mean, a bunch of people were (a) clearly depressed at how clear it is that Shawn and Camila are an item and/or (b) still somehow thinking that their kinda sorta maybe relationship is a PR stunt. Shawn and Camila DID ALMOST KISS, AFTER ALL, while performing, but if people think it’s a stunt, then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. But hey! Although Shawn and Camila have been heating up our summer ever since “Señorita” first dropped back in June, they both walked the VMAs red carpet by themselves.

But after “Señorita,” the pair have been spotted multiple times across the globe kissing in cafés, holding hands while walking in the street, spending birthdays together—you name it!—for the purpose of hyping up this amazing performance, and I dare you to tell me anything different.

If you need me, I will be rewatching this performance until the day I die and crying over the fact that Shawn Mendes is not in love with me yet. Kay, bye!
