Jennifer Lawrence’s wedding to Cooke Maroney may be imminent…if a courthouse ceremony didn’t already happen. The actress was photographed with Maroney leaving New York City’s marriage bureau yesterday with paperwork. Lawrence and Maroney had a friend with them, a photographer (top celebrity photographer Mark Seliger, specifically), and two security guards, according to Page Six. The outlet posted the photos it obtained of Lawrence leaving in a grey blazer and jeans.

The outlet reports a “stunned onlooker” tweeted then deleted, “When you go get your marriage license and Jennifer Lawrence walks by to tie the knot before your eyes. Yeah, kids, City Hall is COOL. The place to go!”

Whether or not Lawrence and Maroney actually got married during their visit yesterday hasn’t been confirmed by any outlet (not People or E!) or Lawrence’s rep, but Page Six reports the two are set to have their wedding celebration next month. In New York City, once getting a marriage license, a couple needs to get married within 60 days in New York City or state. Lawrence and Maroney were seen looking at wedding venues in the city this spring.

In June, a source told People that Lawrence wants a big, fun wedding. “She wants it to be a blowout party and for everyone to just have a ton of fun,” an insider said. “She’s really excited about the wedding and can’t wait to be married.”

Lawrence raved about Maroney during her June interview with Catt Sadler on Sadler’s NAKED podcast. J.Law also said choosing a venue and dress were easy. “I’ve been in a good place,” she said when asked if she was nervous about the wedding. “I haven’t been neurotic about it. I’m too lazy to be neurotic. I like saw a dress I liked. I said, ‘oh, that’s the dress.’ I saw a venue, and I was like, ‘Cool, we got the venue.'”

She said when she met Maroney, she hadn’t been anticipating she’d be a bride anytime soon. “I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married,’” she started. “I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend so I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favorite person in the planet and you’re like you can’t leave. So I wanted to take that offer,” she said with a laugh.
