Cardi B Showed Up in a Giant Pink Princess Dress for Rihanna’s Diamond Ball

Cardi B literally dressed for a ball tonight. The singer showed up at Rihanna’s Diamond Ball this evening in a fairy tale-ready tiered light pink gown. It was massive and breathtaking.

This is not Cardi B’s first time going for a princess vibe at RiRi’s Diamond Ball. She wore a similar princess gown in 2017. It was also enormous:

Cardi was joined by her sister Hennessy Carolina on tonight’s red carpet. Hennessy wore a glittery rainbow dress with a thigh-high leg slit. The colors in their outfits complemented each other, naturally. Two iconic sisters, two jaw-dropping looks:

Cardi hasn’t posted anything about her Diamond Ball appearance on her social media yet, but she did give Rihanna a shoutout on her Instagram in June. The rapper shared a photo of herself in character for Hustlers. “Diamond likes to wear @fenty lingerie #HUSTLERS,” she captioned the shot.

Cardi was last seen at the New York Fashion Week show for Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty lingerie line earlier this week. She wore a fuzzy, baby blue jumpsuit with matching long nails and white high heels.

Cardi spoke with ELLE.com in May this year about the fashion lesson she wants to pass on to her daughter Kulture. “The first lesson I want her to know is don’t be too extra,” Cardi said. “Less is more, you know? Elegance takes it all, every time. You can never go wrong with elegance. I want her to learn that the most.” Elegance is exactly what Cardi went for tonight.
