HAPPY PAIR Ireland legend Robbie Keane and wife Claudine share adorable Valentine’s Day posts to each other on Instagram

ROBBIE KEANE has shared an adorable Valentine’s Day post dedicated to his wife Claudine on Instagram.

The Ireland legend is one of a number of famous sport stars to share posts to their loved one for Valentine’s Day.

And Keane wrote: “Happy valentines Day, I adore you more than words could ever explain. You are my everything, my soulmate and the best friend I could ever wish for. I will never grow tired of you, my love for you is unconditional.”

A few hours after that Claudine put up a post of her own where she looked back at the ‘amazing adventures’ the pair have had in their time together.

She wrote: “Happy Valentines @robbiekeane. I love you so much. You are kind, funny and the most loving husband and father.

“We’ve had the most amazing adventures over the last 17 years and there’s nobody I’d rather experience them with but you.

“You are my soulmate, my rock the one who makes me laugh when I actually want to cry You are always there for me. I adore you.

“TB to our last trip, just the two of us #happyvalentinesday #love #valentines.”

Robbie and Claudine have been married since they tied the knot in the summer of 2008 and currently have two kids together.

His former Ireland team-mate James McClean also posted a heart warming Valentine’s Day post on Instagram today to his wife Erin where he thanked her for having ‘the patience of a saint’.

The Derry native wrote: “Happy Valentines day to my amazing wife @erinmcclean1, you have to deal with a lot being with me, so thank you for having the patience of a saint, you’re the best.”

RTE Presenter Des Cahill also took to Twitter to crack a number of hilarious Valentine’s Day themed jokes.

In the first one he wrote: “My wife just called me lazy and said I’d better have something planned for Valentine’s Day.

“I said, “Yes, I was thinking of taking the Christmas decorations down.”
