Wendy Williams’ ex Kevin Hunter is ENGAGED to baby mama Sharina Hudson as she flaunts $80K ring amid host’s crisis
WENDY Williams’ ex-husband Kevin Hunter is engaged to the mother of his love child, Sharina Hudson, who has been flaunting the $80,000 diamond sparkler he bought her, The Sun can exclusively report.
A source close to Kevin, 48, told The Sun that he purchased the ring in 2020- before Wendy suffered a health-related crisis.
Ajay Anand of Rare Carat told The Sun that the 36-year-old’s ring is around four carats with a “round center diamond set in an intricate setting.”
Even the band sparkles with “a three row-pave, while the center stone is surrounded by a diamond halo.”
The expert added: “We estimate the value of the ring to be around $80,000.”
Calls to Kevin’s longtime jeweler, Mr. Flawless in New York City’s Diamond District, were not returned.
Kevin did not respond to The Sun’s request for comment.
Earlier this year, The Sun exclusively revealed the first photos of Sharina and Kevin’s toddler daughter, and the family’s quiet life in Florida out of the spotlight.
The insider said: “He is living with Sharina and their baby.
“They’re just really happy together, they have moved on from all the drama in New Jersey with his marriage.”
Wendy and then-husband Kevin went through a messy breakup after it was reported that Sharina had become pregnant with his child in 2018.
The TV host, who had been open about her struggles with alcohol and substance abuse in the past, appeared to spiral out of control after news broke about the alleged love child.
Wendy reportedly checked into rehab in Florida, and when she returned to New York from her stint in treatment, she admitted she’d moved into a sober house.
One month after Sharina reportedly gave birth in March 2019, Wendy filed for divorce from her husband of more than 20 years.
She later said on The Jess Cagle Show: “I’ve known about her almost since the beginning. I’ve known that Kevin is a serial cheat.
“The first time I found out was while was pregnant with our son on bedrest.
“I plotted to divorce Kevin, and I sacrificed a lot of myself to come out successful on the other side. And it all worked.”
“This girl wasn’t the only one. She just happens to be the one who kept his baby.
I said ‘kept his baby’ because from what Mr Hunter told me on the night that she was with this new baby and her family and whatnot down south, he was with me begging forgiveness.”
WENDY’S HEALTH CRISIS
Two years after the scandal, Wendy is hiatus from The Wendy Williams Show, which is now cycling through guest hosts as the daytime talk show queen deals with persistent health issues.
Leah Remini was the first host hired to fill in for Wendy, followed by comedian Whitney Cummings while Sherri Shepherd is slated for next week, as the show’s host struggles with her health.
As The Sun first reported, Wendy was rushed to an NYC hospital in September.
Police received a 911 call from her building about a “57-year-old female in need of psychiatric services.”
The TV star had been “struggling with addiction” leading up to her hospitalization, a source claimed.
“Wendy was drinking every day, even while filming the show,” an insider previously revealed to The Sun.
As the host’s health struggle continued, The Wendy Williams Show was postponed from its original return date of September 20.
The show eventually premiered with a guest host on October 18.
Earlier this month, the program’s Instagram page announced that the host will not be returning anytime soon due to “serious complications.”
