Sex And The City’s Chris Noth welcomes second baby aged 65 with wife Tara Wilson
Sex And The City legend Chris Noth and his wife Tara Wilson have welcomed their second baby.
The famous Mr Big actor, 65, shared a sweet Instagram post in which he revealed the couple’s bundle of joy had finally arrived on Tuesday evening.
The former Manhattan icon announced how he and his wife Tara, 37, had welcomed their new son and decided to call him Keats, as a tribute to renowned English poet John Keats.
The on-screen star, who appeared on the hit TV series from 1998 to 2004, appeared thrilled with his baby news.
Chris shared an adorable snap of his tiny tot and posted the photo with his 175K Instagram followers.
He shared an adorable snap of the new baby boy wrapped in a blanket and wearing a cute hat alongside a loving caption.
He wrote: “Down from the heavens comes our second son- Keats! ‘A thing of beauty is a joy forever’.”
The Law & Order actor shared a famous quote from the 19th century writer alongside the adorable image.
The couple, who met in 2002 and got married in Maui, Hawaii, in 2012, are already parents to 12-year-old son Orion.
Chris, best known for playing Mr Big in the US series Sex And The City, met Tara while she was working at his New York bar The Cutting Room.
The couple, who have a 27-year-age gap, welcomed Orion Christopher Wilson in 2008.
The loved-up couple announced they were expecting their second child in September last year by posting a snap of Tara cradling her baby bump in front of a glass door.
He joked in the caption: “Orion is getting a brother — I better get my ass in shape.”
After starring in The Good Wife, Chris then returned to his role as FBI Agent Frank Booth in TV series Gone, which first aired in 2017.
Chris’ character was part of a special task force dedicated to solving abductions along with a victim he saved.
However it was Chris’ role in Sex And The City and his on-off relationship with actress Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw that skyrocketed him to fame.
From the very first episode where he bumped into Carrie on the street, Mr Big was a firm fan favourite, and, despite their roller-coster relationship – including failing to turn up to their wedding – they seemed destined for each other.
Chris’s former co-star Sarah was one of the first to send her congratulations to Chris when he first became a father to Orion.
The pair starred together in the HBO series as on-off couple Carrie and Big from 1998-2004, and reprised their roles in the subsequent Sex and the City movies.
