Regina Hall douses her hands in hand sanitizer after taking selfies with fans in New York amid coronavirus fears
Regina Hall was more than happy to snap selfies with eager fans prior to her AOL Build Series appearance on Thursday morning.
But she looked even happier to be getting rid of germs as she lathered up her hands with hand sanitizer shortly after her impromptu New York City meet and greets.
Hall is currently in the Big Apple promoting the second season of her hit Showtime series Black Monday and appears to be keeping her health a priority.
She accepted the newly deemed ‘liquid gold’ with open palm and walked away with a huge smile across her face.
Hall appeared extremely grateful for the health conscious fan, who could not help but chuckle at Hall’s dramatic reaction.
The Girls Trip actress playfully rubbed her hands together in the air in the direction of nearby shutterbugs.
Even amid coronavirus fears, Hall posed for tons of photos with her supporters, but it was clear she was making an effort to keep her distance.
Hall braved the NYC chill in a beige toned trench coat paired with denim jeans and knee-high leopard boots.
Her hair was neatly styled to one side and her face was painted elegantly in an array of neutral toned makeup.
She waved eagerly at the fans who she did not get to meet personally, before heading inside to commence her highly anticipated AOL interview.
Earlier in the day, Regina scintillated in a red low-cut mini dress as she strutted her stuff into the studio for her scheduled interview on Good Morning America.
She teamed the look with a long beige coat with matching strappy stilettos.
Her brunette tresses were worn down and she flaunted her evergreen looks with complementary make-up including a swipe of shiny lip.
No doubt she looked absolutely stunning as she sat down with hosts Michael Strahan, Sara Haines, and Keke Palmer.
She was on the chat show to promote Showtime series Black Monday but Scary Movie was one of the main topics of conversation.
As the hit parody film was released in July 2000, it will soon be its 20th anniversary, so Strahan asked if any fans ask her from her character Brenda.
Regina said: ‘They do and they ask me to say them and I don’t remember them sometimes but they do.’
She was asked if she was surprised about the frequency of memes that still come out from that film today.
The actress replied: ‘It’s so nice but I’ve changed so every time I look at myself I’m like “Oh I was a cherub.”
‘But it is nice that a character is 20 years later and a character still [remember her]. And honestly the best part is it’s people like Keke [Palmer] and that generation. That different generation.’
Scary Movie went on to have four sequels from 2001 to 2013 as Hall starred in the first four films of the franchise.
