A month before the ceremony, the artists and songs nominated for the American Music Awards 2025 have been revealed, which will reward the most popular artists. While the Grammy Awards recognize and reward the best of music based on the votes of the National Academy of Arts and Recording Sciences, in the AMAs it is the public who votes for their favorites.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that to mark 10 years since her debut as a presenter, Jennifer Lopez will return to the American Music Awards (AMAs) as a host and performer.

In this year’s edition, Kendrick Lamar tops the list of nominees, with a total of 10 mentions; followed by Post Malone, which adds eight mentions. On the other hand, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey each have seven nominations, while Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA and Taylor Swift received six nominations.

The American Music Awards 2025 will be held live from Las Vegas on Fallen Day on Monday, May 26. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount in the United States.
