Danai Gurira wows in fiery red Mugler scoop neck gown at Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles
Danai Gurira wowed in red on Sunday at the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.
The 41-year-old actress donned a fiery red Mugler scoop neck gown for the awards ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium.
Danai had her curves on display in the gorgeous dress that hugged her hips while also showing off her decolletage.
The Walking Dead star had her hair up in a faux mohawk style along with a long ponytail.
She accessorized with sparkling earrings, rings and a multi-colored Bulgari necklace.
Danai also complemented her outfit with bright red lipstick.
She took to the stage along with Lupita Nyong’o, 36, to present the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries.
Danai handed the award to Sam Rockwell, 51, for his portrayal of Bob Fosse in the FX biographical series Fosse/Verdon.
Lupita and Danai during the awards ceremony caught up with Brad Pitt, 56, who won for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his work in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
Brad, Danai and Lupita have been working together on the upcoming HBO Max series Americanah.
The 10-episode series will star Lupita, who also is a producer, with Danai writing and executive producing and Brad producing.
Americanah based on the 2013 novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie follows a pair of young Nigerian immigrants who face a life of struggle while their relationship endures.
Danai has been portraying Michonne on AMC’s The Walking Dead since 2012.
She also plays special forces operator Okoye, a supporting character of Black Panther, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Danai will return as Okoye in the Black Panther sequel due out in 2022.
