How Channing Tatum Feels About His Ex-Wife Jenna Dewan’s Pregnancy News

Jenna Dewan and her boyfriend of roughly one year Steve Kazee announced yesterday that they are expecting their first child together. Dewan has one daughter already, six-year-old Everly, from her and Channing Tatum’s marriage. The two announced their separation last April, and both have since moved on and started dating other people (Tatum is with Jessie J).

E! got intel from a source though on how Tatum found out about Dewan’s pregnancy news—not from the media, of course—and how genuinely happy he is for her. “Jenna told Channing that she was pregnant and wanted to make sure he knew before she announced it,” a source told the outlet. “He is happy for her and was very supportive.”

Dewan shared an Instagram yesterday personally sharing the news to her followers. She appears resting with Everly in it. “Becoming a mother is quite simply the absolute best most incredible thing that has ever happened to me 💕,” she wrote. “@stevekazee you are a gift from above and i couldn’t be more excited to be expanding our family together…! Thank you guys for all the love!!”

Kazee shared his own Instagram on the news too with a gushing message about Dewan. He wrote:

I have waited my entire life for this moment and couldn’t have found a better person to build a family with.
