Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez had their big, lavish engagement party this weekend, and Lopez was kind enough to share her own photos from shindig on Instagram. Rodriguez and J.Lo celebrated Friday night with their families and friends over a four-course, seated dinner.
J.Lo shared most of the menu on her Instagram Story. Dishes included the first course, a salad of baby greens with roquefort cheese, candied walnuts, apples and pomegranate vinaigrette; the second course, pumpkin-squash tortellini with brown butter and sage; and the entree course, either potato-crusted seabags with romanesco, shaved autumn squashes, and moscato beurre blanc or roast chicken with truffle crushed potatoes and caramelized brussels sprouts. There was a dessert course too, although the choices there were cut off.
Other photos Lopez shared on her Instagram included a selfie of her and A-Rod, plus a shot of their children together. Lopez has her 11-year-old twins from her previous marriage to Mark Anthony: Emme and Max. And Rodriguez has two daughters from his marriage to Cynthia Scurtis: 14-year-old Natasha and 11-year-old Ella.
On her grid, J.Lo shared a selfie:

When Lopez and Rodriguez’s wedding will be hasn’t been revealed yet. In May, Lopez said they were taking their time planning the ceremony. Entertainment Tonight asked Lopez, who got engaged this March, about her and Rodriguez’s progress then.
“It’s going good,” she answered. “I think we have a pretty busy year ahead of us, so you know, we are [taking it slow].”
“There’s no rush,” she added. “We really see this as something that’s gonna be forever, and we’re gonna just take our time and do it right. And do it not rushed.”
