‘Lonely’ Dan Osborne wants to invite someone over to watch I’m A Celebrity with him
Dan Osborne moaned he was ‘lonely’ watching I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! by himself as he cheekily asked his Instagram followers if anyone wanted to join him.
The former TOWIE star is supporting his wife – and the mum to two of his kids – Jacqueline Jossa as she competes in the I’m A Celeb jungle.
While Jacq is over in Australia, Dan has been keeping up with her antics from home and filming his live reactions every night.
After putting their daughters to bed on Monday, budding vlogger Dan took to social media to share with fans his thoughts on the show – and last night he admitted he was in need of some company.
“I’m sitting here on my own,” he whined from the sofa. “Let’s watch it together please?” Dan said to his social media followers.
He then added: “I feel like I’ve got to invite someone round to watch this with me because I’m just sat here by myself eating Dominoes talking to my phone ,which can’t be helpful.”
The dad to daughters Ella and Mia tucked into a delicious takeaway on Monday evening as Jacqueline complained of living off rice and beans.
“I’m on my own but ordered enough for two people so I didn’t look lonely to the delivery man,” explained Dan.
“I’ve got friends do you know what I mean? I’ve got three friends. Surely one of them is available,” he mused.
The tattoo artist then praised the power of social media as two of his friends reached out after watching his video to say they will come and join him.
“I will have company!” he added.
During last night’s I’m A Celeb, viewers saw a homesick Jacqueline become gutted to discover she’d missed out on a present from her loved ones.
The former EastEnders actress had requested a memento of her children as her luxury item while she is thousands of miles away in Australia.
But the stars in the main camp failed in their attempts to receive the parcels from across a pond.
Explaining her reasons for signing up to the show as she made her debut, Jacqueline said: “This will be the first time I’ve done something just for me, people will definitely see a different side to me.”
Jacqueline’s remarks appeared to be a reference to her personal problems over the last few years.
Her marriage of two years to husband has been strained amid persistent rumours of infidelity on the side of Dan – allegations that he has vehemently denied.
Jacqueline made previous statements ahead of her stint on the ITV reality show suggested she was keen to prove she has a backbone after she stood by her man amid the allegations of cheating.
“I think people think I am a pushover or a doormat. I also think some people pity me,” she said after it was confirmed to be taking part.
