Hayes was born at Jamie and Doug’s New Jersey home at 3:37 P.M. on Wednesday, May 13, as the couple shared to PEOPLE. The little bundle of joy weighed 9 lbs., 4 oz. and measured 21 inches.

Jamie first announced she was pregnant with Hayes back in early September 2019. “We went to the fertility specialist and found out WE ARE PREGNANT!!! I cannot even believe it!” she shared in an Instagram post. “after 18 long, painful months, two losses and negative after negative on the pregnancy tests we are *finally* pregnant again!”

Months earlier, Jamie opened up about suffering a miscarriage after just ten weeks into her pregnancy. “I’m devastated,” she expressed her heartbreak in January 2019. “We’ve had a ‘failed miscarriage.’ Our baby formed and there was an amniotic sac, but while the amniotic sac continued to grow the baby stopped at some point.” .
