BACHELOR fans have been divided over contestant Sarah Trott, who appeared to have stolen Matt James’ heart after their first date.
After photos of Sarah and rapper G Eazy surfaced, Bachelor fans have been curious about Sarah’s life before the show. Here’s the lowdown…
Who is Sarah Trott from the Bachelor?
You might recognise Sarah from her brief, but dramatic, appearance on season 25 of the reality dating show.
The 24-year-old has worked as a broadcast journalist and is a trained fire dancer.
Before entering the reality show, she worked as a news anchor and reporter for ABC News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 in Palm Springs, California.
The young professional also worked as a multimedia journalist at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri.
Meanwhile, Sarah is signed to Otto Models, and frequently posts professional snaps to her Instagram.
But after her father was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, Sarah’s priorities shifted and she became a caregiver.
Inspired by the curveball that life has thrown at her, Sarah now hosts her own podcast called From Here To Where.
Sarah says: “I’m 23 and I’ve already been through my fair share of hardship and heartbreak. But I know I’m not the only one!

Did Sarah Trott date rapper G Eazy?
Fan account Bachelor Nation Scoop has dug up photos of Sarah leaving a nightclub with rapper G Eazy.
The pair were photographed leaving the Delilah Nightclub in LA in March 2020.
Instagram stories also show Sarah at the club and fans have worked out that the pair were there to celebrate an acquaintance named Christine’s birthday.
After the night out, the pair exited the club together and got into the same car.
Neither G-Eazy, who’s real name is Gerald Earl Gillum, or Sarah publicly commented on the relationship.
G Eazy is now in a relationship with Ashley Benson.
Why did Sarah Trott leave The Bachelor?
Things looked like they were going well for Sarah in the first two episodes of the show.
She hit it off with Matt James on their one-on-one date, where she opened up about her father and his illness.
Their spark caused some animosity among the other girls, and Sarah drew attention to herself before she sensationally fainting during the rose ceremony in the first episode.
