Amber Alert issued for missing Martin County teen

HOBE SOUND, Fla. – An Amber alert was Thursday for 13-year old Kimberly Newberry Ohler of Hobe Sound who hasn’t been seen since Wednesday night around 11 p.m.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Ohler was last seen leaving her parent’s home on Dove Street in Hobe Sound.

Deputies said Ohler got into an unknown person’s vehicle, with an unknown vehicle description.

Ohler is 5’3 and weighs about 110lbs. She has distinctive hair which is red and very long, almost to her hip area.

According to MCSO, Ohler is an emotionally fragile child and may have put herself in harm’s way by connecting with a stranger.
