Black Panther is one of the most enjoyable television series. It is equally enjoyed by people sans any age discrimination. It is an American Superhero movie that was launched in 2018. The initiative was spearheaded by Marvel Comics. As far as the production of the movie goes, Marvel Studios produced it; Walt Disney Studios distributed it, under the banner of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the 18th movie in the franchise of Marvel Cinematic Universe or the MCU.

This movie is directed by Ryan Coogler, who wrote the screenplay in partnership with Joe Robert Cole. The actor cast is studded with Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, alongside Micheal B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, and Daniel Kaluuva. Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis are also a part of the movie. T’Challa is the undisputed crowned king of Wakanda, but his abilities are challenged by Killmonger who plans to abandon the country’s isolated and backward policies to begin a global revolution of a new order.

The story is partly also based on a few historical pieces of evidence. One of them is related to Africa. Thousands of years ago, there were five African tribes. These tribes fought over a meteorite containing the metal Vibranuim. One warrior among them knowingly or unknowingly ingests or eats, a heart-shaped herb, which contains this seemingly prohibited metal. The metal which he ends up consuming starts to affect him. Thereby, he becomes a Black Panther. Shortly afterward, he united all the Jabari tribes to form the nation of Wakanda.

Over the years, probably over centuries, these Wakandans use this Vibranium to develop advanced technology and steadily isolate themselves from the world. This way, they become a Third World country.

Now coming to the second season of Black Panther, even before the initial season premiered, the boss of this franchise Kevin Feige said that a sequel to this Black Panther Season 1 will take place. Other than this one statement, he did not reveal anything much.

This first installment of the movie gave many records worth remembering. In the superhero genre, it landed a historic Golden Globes nomination, which not many get. It also made the final rounds of the Oscar nomination, along with Academy Awards.
To speak about the plot or the storyline, I feel it is still early days to talk about that. But, the crew and the production department has been making and taking every single effort to make a sequel that is a worthy successor to the first season. The news that is making rounds is that maybe, just maybe, the second season will be out in May of 2022. Not sure yet, though.

Eager and loyal fans have already started to deliberate what the second season might hold. According to them, Wakanda might come under attack quite soon. This time due to Namor or Princess Zanda, one of them or worse, both of them being responsible.
