Ariana completed the look with her blonde hair pulled back into a tight ponytail, with her bangs hanging down. While giving poses to paparazzi, Ari was even seen sitting down to show off the full skirt of the dress.

Later, Ariana took the Grammys Award 2020 stage for an epic performance. She kicked things off by belting out her song “Imagine,” then went into a rendition of “7 Rings.” She closed out her set by singing the ending to “Thank U, Next.”

What caught everyone’s attention is Ariana Grande took an engagement ring and put it back in the box and closed it. There are reports claiming that it was her way of splitting up with Pete Davidson, who she was engaged to from May untill 2018.

In addition to her performance at the show, Ariana was also nominated for Record of the Year for her song “7 Rings,” Album of the Year for Thank U, Next, Best Pop Solo Performance for “7 Rings,” Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Boyfriend” with Social House, and Best Pop Vocal Album for Thank U, Next.

The 26-year-old pop star was nominated in five categories going into Sunday’s show, including album of the year and best pop vocal album for “Thank U, Next.” Notably, she won her first Grammy in the year 2019, taking home the Best Pop Vocal Album award for her record, Sweetener.

A source close to Ariana Grande told CNN that at the time that Grammy producers initially rejected Grande’s choice to perform “7 Rings,” then later they agreed on the condition they chose her second song.

The reason behind not allowing her to perform “7 Rings” is the pop star is currently being sued over the songs. The song had been in the news after Grande and seven co-writers were accused of plagiarizing it.
