Holy Sh*t: Taylor Swift Just Eviscerated Kanye West and Called Him Two-Faced in ‘Rolling Stone’ Interview

  • Taylor Swift opened up about her feud with Kanye West in a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
  • She called him two-faced and explained exactly why she was upset with his “I made that b*tch famous” lyric.

It’s been 10 years since Kanye West stole the microphone from Taylor Swift during the MTV VMAs to announce that Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time, and since then, they’ve been in a bitter back-and-forth that just won’t quit. And Taylor just opened up to Rolling Stone about their feud and legit eviscerated Kanye. Seriously, it feels like she could write a Reputation Part 2 based off this interview.

First off, we need to address how Taylor can barely utter this man’s name. The whole time she’s talking during the interview, she basically treats him like he’s Voldemort and won’t even speak those two syllables. Only, something tells me she’s not afraid of him or worried about his feelings.

Taylor claimed that after the dust seemed to settle between them, Kanye called her up and asked her to present him with the Vanguard Award at the 2015 VMAs. She said:

“I started to feel like we reconnected, which felt great for me—because all I ever wanted my whole career after that thing happened in 2009 was for him to respect me….And I was so happy, because he would say really nice things about my music. It just felt like I was healing some childhood rejection or something from when I was 19.”

With that in mind, she said yes during their hour-long phone call, which she didn’t record. (There was definitely some shade there, considering Kim Kardashian and Kanye recorded a different call in which she approved the “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex” lyric but not the one that followed.)

Feeling “so stoked,” she wrote a nice speech for him, which he followed up with, “You know how many times they announced Taylor was going to give me the award ’cause it got them more ratings?” Obviously, what he said onstage is way different than how Taylor said things went down in that phone call.

When she heard him say that MTV coordinated all this for ratings, she said, “I’m standing in the audience with my arm around his wife, and this chill ran through my body.” She continued, “I realized he is so two-faced. That he wants to be nice to me behind the scenes, but then he wants to look cool, get up in front of everyone and talk shit.”

After that, Kanye apparently tried to get Taylor to go talk to him in his dressing room. She didn’t go because she was upset, so he ended up sending her flowers the next day. They had another phone call to talk it out, and that’s when he told her about the “Famous” lyric.

Her thought process: “And I was like, ‘You know what? I really don’t want us to be on bad terms again. So whatever, I’m just going to move past this.’”

But as history has shown us, Kanye added another lyric about Taylor, called her a b*tch, and claimed he made her famous. (LOL, “Tim McGraw” did that all on its own, tyvm!)

Anyway, that was really when she decided to be over Kanye and all the back and forth. She said, “I was like, ‘I’m done with this. If you want to be on bad terms, let’s be on bad terms, but just be real about it.’”

So that’s where she’s at now, and she told Rolling Stone that she’s done talking about their feud because she gets “worked up” and doesn’t want to “talk about negative sh*t all day.”

And there you have it. Taylor is done with him and done talking about him!
