Different Fashion Styles
A cloth has it way of boosting your self-confidence, especially when it is styled just the way you like it! There are different fashion styles. But do you know which category of styles or group of styles you fashion after? If you do not know, wait till you finish reading this article and you will see which of the styles you belong to.
1-Formal Dressing Style:
Formal wears are usually worn to offices and official functions. They include but may not be limited to suit, tie, tuxedo, skirt, trousers, shirt. This dressing style is mostly adopted by people to work in an official setting and offices; like banks and so on.
2-Ethnic or Traditional Style:
This include cloths that have a partial or full tone of a tradition or custom. Culture differ from one place to the other and so are traditional attires. Traditional wears include Japanese kimonos, peasant blouses for the Mexicans, kaftans and tunics for people in the east.
3-Street Style:
Streetwear originated from California – from the Californian surf and stake concept. However, streetwear has gone beyond surfing and skating because many people have adopted this style of dressing. Even designers, influencers and brands have incorporated the street style into their designs. The street style has become a modern fashion now. Street style include, tank tops, crop tops, jeans, sneakers, boots, canvas, jeans, caps, hats, t-shirts and so on.
4-Business Casual Style:
Just as the name implies, the style has the blend of business (office) and casual tones. This style can be suitable for both the business (office) and casual settings. This style may include tunics/blouses with skirts or slacks, collared t-shirt with a trouser or pant and a blazer.
5-Sport Style:
This is similar to the street style. Although sportswear is supposed to be worn for sports but it will also pass for a casual wear today. Only sportsmen and sports women wear this type of attire before, but many people wear it as casual and for relaxation today. This may be owned to the fact that the fabric from which sportswear is made is very stretchy and comfortable. Tank tops, sports bras, yoga pants, leggings, polo shirts and outerwear are some examples of the sport style.
6-Rock Style:
This dressing style is often adopted by rock stars. It is characterized by boots with spiky heels (often black), skinny leather pants, motorcycle jackets and vintage t-shirts. This dressing style is often tight-fitting to the body shape or form and other accessories that often go with this dressing style are lots of jewelry on the neck, black or dark nail polish, chunky bracelets and more.
7-Maternity Style:
His dressing style has already spoken for itself. This style is mostly adopted by pregnant women and mothers who have just given birth. The fabrics used to make these cloths are often stretch so that they can accommodate the growing belly and make the wearer comfortable. They are cut, sewn and styled in a way that you still look quite attractive even with pregnancy.
8-Lolita Style:
Have you ever seen a grown girl dressed like a little girl? That’s Lolita style. When an adult dress like a girl in her teens or early 20s, then she is styled in the Lolita fashion. The collection of the Lolita style includes head wears (cute ones), cuffs and gloves, socks with different prints, frilly petticoats, jackets, puffy-sleeved dresses and so on.
