Reese Witherspoon Announces Lineup for Hello Sunshine’s Annual Shine Away Event (Exclusive)
Laura Dern, Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts and more will join Witherspoon for the empowering two-day event in Los Angeles this October
Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine is gearing up for its second annual Shine Away event, and this year’s talent lineup is nothing short of star-studded.
The two-day experience, taking place on October 5th and 6th at nya Studios in Los Angeles, is designed to empower women to reclaim their joy and discover new tools to transform their lives.
The Shine Away event, connected by AT&T, will feature conversations and curated programming with some of the biggest names in entertainment, business, and culture.
Joining Witherspoon this year are her Big Little Lies costar Laura Dern, Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer, and powerhouse women like Naomi Watts, Olivia Munn, and Spanx founder Sara Blakely. Media personalities like Brooke Baldwin, Shark Tank judge Candace Nelson, comedian Heather McMahan, journalist Cari Champion and Kellyn Kenny, AT&T Chief Marketing & Growth Officer will also be gracing the stage. The weekend will cap off with a special musical performance by rising country group The Castellows.

The event, which debuted in 2023, has quickly become a signature experience from Hello Sunshine, Witherspoon’s media company that focuses on empowering women through storytelling.
This year’s talent lineup will also include fan favorites like author and RBC pick The Last Thing He Told Me’s Laura Dave, bestselling author Rainbow Rowell, flag football star Diana Flores, and social media sensation Amanda Kloots. Plus, Julia Boorstin , CNBC’s Senior Media & Tech Correspondent and author of When Women Lead and Karla Gallardo will share their insights on success and life balance.
The Shine Away event will also feature exclusive experiences tied to Hello Sunshine’s various media ventures, including a conversation with Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin of The Home Edit, and an engaging discussion led by The Bright Side’s Simone Boyce and Danielle Robay.
