Simone Biles has revealed that her Chicago home was broken into earlier this year, and that the intruders drove off in her Porsche.
The 29-year-old Olympic champion shared the story in a casual TikTok on Monday, Sept. 21, filmed while she did her makeup before heading out to pick up a replacement car. According to Biles, three masked men came to the house during the couple’s final months living in Chicago and took her Porsche GTS. The car has since been recovered, but she decided it was time for a new one anyway. “Onto the next,” she wrote in the caption.
Biles didn’t go into detail, calling the full story one “for another time.” She joked that her life is eventful enough to fill a reality show, and said incidents like this are part of why she and her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens, now have a Doberman as a guard dog.
Not the couple’s first close call
It’s the second security scare for the pair this year. While in Milan for the 2026 Winter Olympics in February, Owens posted on X that someone had tried to grab his shopping bag on the street. He only held on to it because he’d looped it around his hand.
The couple’s main home is a newly built waterfront house in Texas, and Biles has said she plans to spend more time in Indianapolis during football season. In an interview with PEOPLE earlier this month, she said she was simply excited to watch her husband play.
