Levi McConaughey, 18, made his runway debut at Vogue World: Milan, and he made sure to acknowledge his mom. Camila Alves McConaughey, 44, filmed the moment he looked into the crowd and blew her a kiss, and she shared the clip on her Instagram Stories.
The Pantalones Tequila co-founder said she was proud of her son, and she thanked Armani for dressing her in a simple white dress so she could focus on helping Levi backstage instead of worrying about her own look.
A star-studded show
The fifth edition of Vogue‘s global fashion event celebrated Italian craftsmanship and innovation. Levi shared the runway with famous names including Cardi B in archival Versace, Jennifer Lopez in Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda, MGK in Byblos and Alicia Keys in a custom gown.
Before the trip, mother and son attended the opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art together. Camila joked on Instagram that Levi looks more like a young man every day.
Following in his parents’ footsteps
Levi made his acting debut playing Matthew McConaughey’s on-screen son in the Apple TV+ thriller The Lost Bus. He told PEOPLE in 2025 that he had to “badger” his dad about the role. Matthew said he asked the casting team to hide Levi’s last name during auditions, and director Paul Greengrass picked him anyway.
Levi has acknowledged that famous parents can open doors, but he said what he does once he’s inside is up to him. He turned 18 this summer, and his dad marked the milestone on Instagram by telling him to enjoy and handle his new freedoms.

It’s a sweet family moment, and Levi seems thoughtful about his head start. Auditioning without his famous last name and saying his success is up to him are good signs for his career in fashion or film.
