French Montana Reveals He’s Out of the ICU Alongside Candid Hospital Photo
French Montana is feeling extra grateful this Thanksgiving.
The 35-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal that he’s “finally” out of the ICU. Montana was hospitalized last Thursday. A source told ET earlier this week that the performer was recently in four countries in six days, and that he was suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, an irregular heart rate and severe stomach pains.
“Thank you Everyone for all of the prayers, love and support. I’m finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time !!!#Montana,” Montana wrote on Thursday, alongside a photo of himself in the hospital.
TMZ previously reported that Montana was taken to a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday after suffering from cardiac issues and dealing with painful nausea.
At the time, a rep for the LA County Sheriff’s Department told ET that deputies initially responded to a robbery at a home in Calabasas, California, that was occupied by Montana, but that there was no evidence of a robbery found. After they arrived, however, deputies noticed that Montana was having medical issues and called the paramedics. The rapper was then transported to a local hospital.
Sources told TMZ that Montana was suffering from elevated heart rate and stomach pains, and that it could have been a result of eating contaminated food.
Montana received plenty of support while he was in the hospital, including from Megan Thee Stallion, who shared a video from her visit with him. See more on Montana in the video below.
