Lauv reveals who he would like to collaborate with in a fan Q&A
‘Tattoos Together’ singer Lauv opened up the floor to his fans, getting them to ask him anything using the hashtag #askLauv on Twitter. The questions ranged from who the singer would like to collab with, to his favourite language and how his mental health is.
Answering many of his fans’ questions, the American singer told how he would love to team up with Drake on a collab.
Lauv also revealed the inspiration behind his song ‘El Tejano’, featured on his new album ‘~how i’m feeling~’, telling his fans that he, ‘was obsessed with the place and always wanted to write a song about it’.
When it came to questions around his debut album, when asked, ‘what’s something u wish u knew when making ur album’ (sic), Lauv replied, ‘that i would finish it and it would all be ok’. {sic)
Lauv also revealed how he likes to ‘uplift’ his mood explaining, that, ‘gratitude, deep conversation w a friend, going on a walk, being in the sun, breathing, music,’ all help.
The topic of conversation also turned to languages, which was very fitting considering the singer has recently posted a video of his song translated into many languages from around the world. When asked if he would like to learn another language, he replied, ‘yes i’d like to learn multiple in a dream world.’ (sic)
Lauv’s Q&A comes less than a week after the singer released his debut album ‘~how i’m feeling~’ which includes his collab with Anne-Marie, ‘Lonely’, as well as this year’s single ‘Tattoos Together’.
The album also includes collabs with Troye Sivan, BTS and Alessia Cara. Replying to another fan’s question, Lauv told how it was a trending topic on Twitter which inspired him to write the song ‘Canada’ which features Alessia.
Lauv teased his new album for many months before it’s release, sharing the artwork last year, which shows the singer sitting cross-legged with miniature versions of him wearing colourful outfits.
