MEGAN THEE STALLION SAYS A CONTRACT DISPUTE IS PREVENTING THE RELEASE OF NEW MUSIC

The chances that we hear a new album from Megan Thee Stallion soon are looking pretty slim. The “Hot Girl” hit Instagram Live to detail a contract dispute between her and the 1501 Certified Entertainment she is signed to.

Thee Stallion details she was told about what was in her contract, which prompted her to want to restructure her deal.

“I didn’t really know what was in my contract,” she said. “I was young, I think I was, like, twenty.”

She added that she didn’t think that it would be an issue because “everybody cool, we all family, it’s cool,” but stated “everything went left” once she brought up the idea.

“So now they telling a bitch that she can’t drop no music. It’s really just a greedy game,” Thee Stallion alerted her fans.

Her conversation with The Hotties included a warning to rising stars.

“Please, it might seem good, it might sound good, but you definitely got to read,” she said. “Read all that shit. Don’t sign that without no lawyer…and get your own lawyer, with their own opinion.”

For now, #FreeTheeStallion is trending online.
