Update: 50 Cent Responds to Ja Rule’s ‘Battle of the Hits’ Challenge

There have been a series of battles between producers, going hit-for-hit. Some of the more notable battles have been between Swizz Beatz vs. Timbaland, RZA vs. DJ Premier, but there haven’t been many rappers to step up and take on the challenge. On Monday, however, Fat Joe announced that Ja Rule wanted to see 50 Cent in a battle of the hits and got a rather typical response from 50. 

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have been recruiting some of the biggest names in music to go head-to-head in a battle of beats between producers, songwriters, and now Ja Rule wants to face off with 50 Cent in a battle of the hits. 

Fat Joe made the announcement of Ja Rule wanting to battle 50 Cent while Joe was on Instagram Live with Swizz Beatz. Joe had Ja Rule on speakerphone, as he promised to “behave,” which Swizz said sounded like a “devilish ‘behave’.” 50 Cent has yet to respond, but you can check out Ja Rule agreeing to the battle above.
