French Montana Announces ‘Montana’ Album Release Date, Provides Health Update
After finally being discharged from the ICU on Thanksgiving, French Montana provided more good news on Tuesday (Dec. 3) when it came to his health and forthcoming album. The 35-year-old announced that his anticipated MONTANA album would be releasing on Friday (Dec. 6).
French posted a heartfelt note to social media claiming that the “music was keeping his spirit alive.” “CANT KEEP ME DOWN !! Been workin hard on my new album and I’m so proud to announce it’s coming THIS FRIDAY !!! #MONTANA The music is keepin my spirit alive. THANK YOU to my fans, love y’all for ridin with me thru this journey,” he wrote.
Montana was hospitalized for severe stomach issues and an elevated heart rate last month (Nov. 21). On Thanksgiving (Nov. 28), he explained that he would be released from ICU, but the battle to get his health in a better place was still ongoing. “Thank you Everyone for all of the prayers, love and support. I’m finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time,” he said.
The Bronx transplant has kept busy with a bunch of singles in 2019, which included the star-studded “Writing on the Wall” with Post Malone and Cardi B, “Suicide Doors” featuring Gunna, teaming with the City Girls for “Wiggle It,” and “Slide” featuring rising stars Blueface and Lil Tjay.
