Get a Glimpse Of Taylor Swift in the New ‘Bluebird’ Documentary Trailer: Watch
On Wednesday (Nov. 13), Cleopatra Entertainment dropped the first trailer for Bluebird, the upcoming documentary about historic Nashville venue The Bluebird Cafe.
The clip features archival footage of perfomances at The Bluebird by the likes of Taylor Swift (who made a surprise appearance in 2018 alongside country songwriter Craig Wiseman), Garth Brooks and Maren Morris, while Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Faith Hill and others recount their experiences playing at the iconic musical hotspot.
“It gives people on the ground floor of their dreams a chance to tell their story,” Musgraves says via confessional interview, while Trisha Yearwood recalls, “It’s that step in the journey and I’m proud that the Bluebird was one of those steps for me.”
The documentary will also trace the history of the venue, as well as its current resistance to Nashville developers determined to alter the landscape of the tiny strip mall in which it’s sat for nearly 40 years.
Bluebird is slated to appear in a limited run of theaters on Nov. 15 before heading to VOD on Dec. 3. Watch the trailer below.
