‘I Missed Your Voice So Much’: Fans Lose It After Rihanna Appears on New Song With PartyNextDoor

It’s common for Rihanna’s fans to beg her for new music, so many were thrilled that she appeared on a new song with PartyNextDoor.

On Thursday, March 26, PartyNextDoor released his third album, “Partymobile,” and Rihanna appears on the tenth track, “Believe It.” They are the first new vocals she’s delivered since N.E.R.D‘s “Lemon” and Kendrick Lamar‘s “Loyalty,” which both came out in 2017.

“Believe It” isn’t the first time Rihanna has worked with PartyNextDoor, since he co-wrote her smash hits “Work,” “Sex With Me,” and “Wild Thoughts.”

Rihanna shared a snippet of the new song to her Instagram page on Thursday, and in the comments people expressed a mixture of joy and disbelief.

“I missed your voice so much,” one person let Rihanna know.

“I’m in complete shock ,” another person stated.

“This must be a dream,” a third person followed.

Someone else said the new song is making them deal with the current pandemic and self-quarantining easier.

“Quarantine just got so much better,” that person stated.

For now, there’s still no release date for Rihanna’s next album “R9.” In 2019 she said the LP would be reggae-inspired.

She also explained why it’s taken longer than usual to record songs, which has to do with her running her Fenty line, which became part of fashion conglomerate LVMH in 2019.

“It’s the reason why an album isn’t being spat out like it used to,” she explained. “I used to be in the studio, only the studio, for three months straight, and an album would come out. Now, it’s like a carousel. I do fashion one day, lingerie the next, beauty the next, then music the next. It’s like having a bunch of kids and you need to take care of them all.”

Rihanna’s last album was 2016’s “Anti.”
