Demi Moore Channeled Her Inner Artist with a Family Paint Night During Quarantine

The family who wears striped pajamas together has a heck of a time painting together. 

That’s what famous exes Demi Moore and Bruce Willis proved while self-isolating together with their kids during the novel coronavirus pandemic. The family has been getting into all kinds of fun activities since lockdown went into effect, and their latest family project looks just as fun. 

This week, it was time for the family to get in on paint night together, as Moore shared in a recent Instagram post on Tuesday (April 21). Demi shared a snap of herself in oversized aviator glasses clad in an apron surrounded by paints and some of her own handiwork. 

Wearing a long-sleeved black sweater and an apron to protect her clothes, Demi sat in front of a whimsical giraffe painting that looked like it took a while to paint. The next photo in the series showed the whole family trying to work on their art as well, furrowing their brows and really getting into it. 

“Family paint night,” Moore wrote alongside the images. The family has been getting into all kinds of fun stuff together: wearing striped pajamas, helping daughter Tallulah shave her head for an outdoor photo shoot, and organizing photos while sitting in the floor together. Every glimpse we’ve had looks like an exciting time. 

But why isn’t Bruce Willis in lockdown with his ex and daughters? Scout Willis explained it all on a recent episode of the Dopey podcast, as a medical emergency ended up keeping Emma Heming Willis and daughters Mabel and Evelyn coming to Idaho with the rest of the family. Unfortunately, now they’re splintered a bit. 

“It’s been really funny to have both of my parents in the house where they raised us, which has been really cute,” Scout said of Bruce and Demi. “They’re both such nerdy, adorable, ’90s parents in a small town where they chose to have their kids and not be in L.A. It’s been pretty cute.”
