Kim Kardashian And Zendaya Are Not Entertained By Your Mean Tweets

Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets series never disappoints. The late night show host aired the 12th edition of celebrities reading and responding to mean tweets on his show last night, and he recruited some big names to participate: Kim Kardashian, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Jeff Goldblum, Sarah Paulson, Tiffany Haddish, and Maisie Williams were among them.

Some celebs said nothing after reading them; some had expletive-filled responses (Paulson and Haddish, particularly). And then there was Kim Kardashian and Zendaya’s responses to their tweets, which were burns sent straight back to the sender.

But in the case of Kardashian, she first read her tweet aloud, “I’d rather plant poison ivy plants in my anus before hearing another word about Kim Kardashian!” Then she quipped right back with a smirk, “Go ahead and do that, please.”

Zendaya had a more dramatic reaction to her tweet. The user wrote, “I bet Zendaya’s feet smell like Funyuns.”

Zendaya responded, “Let’s check, shall we?” Then the actress literally took her Christian Louboutin shoe off, smelled her foot, and quipped, “No, smells like success to me.”

Coincidentally, both Kim Kardashian and Zendaya were presenters at the Emmys this weekend. Zendaya’s acclaimed new show Euphoria wasn’t nominated for any awards—but only because it wasn’t eligible this year.

The Emmys eligibility period is June 1, 2018 to May 31, 2019 for the 2019 awards, and Euphoria came out on June 16. So come 2020, don’t be surprised if Zendaya even gets her own individual nomination.
