Benny Blanco gave fans a look at how he celebrated Selena Gomez’s 34th birthday: with a cooking class in Italy. The producer, 38, posted a TikTok on July 22 that opened with him announcing, from the car, that they were going to make an Italian feast for his wife’s birthday.
What they cooked
- Fresh pasta: Gomez cracked eggs into the dough, kneaded it and fed it through a pasta machine, while Blanco cheered her on and turned his dough into spaghetti.
- Fiori di zucca: Blanco grated lemon zest and herbs into soft cheese to stuff squash blossoms.
- Eggplant parmesan: Gomez layered sauce and thin eggplant slices for the dish, which Blanco proudly called the best eggplant parm, and the best thing he’d tasted in Italy so far. She insisted he’d made it too.
The couple also toasted with wine, and Blanco filmed the view of villas, fountains and greenery around them. The video ended with Gomez resting after the class as he quietly wished her a happy birthday and told her he loved her.
