Zendaya and Tom Holland kept their Odyssey press week going with a date night in New York City. On Thursday, July 16, the couple walked hand in hand to the Gold House x OpenTable dinner at Japanese restaurant Wokuni.
What they wore
Zendaya, 29, wore a black raw silk wrap dress with floral details at the waist and black pointed-toe Christian Louboutin heels, with her natural hair in her new “bixie” cut. Holland, 30, kept it casual in a navy sweater over a baby blue polo, light-wash jeans and black leather boots.

- NYC premiere (July 14): A floor-length white Matières Fécales gown with an asymmetrical strapless neckline, a feathered train and large angel wings, worn with sculptural white pumps.

Sweet moments on the press tour
Holland, who recently confirmed the couple is married, joked in a Wired video that Athena, Zendaya’s character in Christopher Nolan’s film, couldn’t possibly love Odysseus (Matt Damon), because “she’s married to me.”
On The Tonight Show, Zendaya told Jimmy Fallon that she thought they had already “won” when Holland was cast. Then Nolan asked Holland to read the script again with Athena in mind, and she was thrilled. The Odyssey, based on Homer’s epic about Odysseus’ long journey home to Ithaca, opens in theaters Friday, July 17.
Our take
Between Holland’s playful jokes and Zendaya’s run of looks, their press tour is fun to watch. The quiet dinner in a simple wrap dress was a nice change from the red carpet drama.
